Job description

Inspect inbound shipments and verify packing slip with purchase order. Identify and communicate shipment discrepancies to Purchasing. Monitor the inventory for damages, defects, and deal with inventory issues promptly. Ensure vendor returns are accounted for and readily available at the time of scheduled pickup. Organize receiving, shipping, RMA, Vendor Return and all order picking paperwork for easy accessibility. Fulfill order picking for Lighting, Electrical, Siding and Flooring. Interpret custom bending drawings, and execute on order fulfillment. Prepare and cut carpet for customer orders. Communicate backorders to the appropriate sales member at the time of fulfillment. Ensure all customer returns are inspected and executed in a timely manner. Manage stocking and non-stocking bin locations to assist with picking. Utilize the Replenish Dedicated function, and ensure all locations are stocked. Develop systems to ensure proper hand-off for material, whether it be internal or external clients. Maintains the overall safety, cleanliness, and appearance of the warehouse. Other duties as assigned.

Previous experience is considered an asset.

The position will require the individual to frequently enter and exit a forklift. In addition, the individual must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs and up to 80lbs to perform the job safely. Position requires being on your feet for long periods of time and work with computer programs and databases. Rated Intermediate.
